I have been a third-grade teacher at Downtown Elementary School for the past two years. Originally from Atlanta, my husband and son and I relocated to Memphis in 2023. I've been a teacher for nine years. I hold a MAT in Special Education and Elementary Education, as well as a BS in Elementary Education & Interdisciplinary Studies. Spending time with loved ones, reading, trying out new places, and sipping coffee or matcha lattes are some of my favorite pastimes. ☕📖🥙

As previously mentioned, I started teaching English Language Arts at Downtown Elementary in 2023. Later, I transitioned to a self-contained classroom and taught all four curriculum areas. This year, I'll partner with Mrs. Perkins who will be responsible for teaching your child Math and Science. I will teach English Language Arts and Social Studies to both my and her homeroom classes.
