When COVID-19 began, I had to explore how to engage and support my students. I created virtual lessons and activities for my students. I completed multiple professional learning opportunities, completed 504s meetings, and created a virtual calming space. I have provided self-care opportunities for my staff, used new methods to continue communication with parents and even coordinated a virtual talent show for my students.
Each week we provided an academic support activity for the students.

Biggest Takeaway: I have gained multiple, strategic ways to support our anxious students, for older students it is called the CAT project.

Biggest Takeaway: I put time in to Twitter to keep parents in the loop, but need to consider a school based Instagram (esp. in these times) to connect with students.
