Student Standards

• In September 2019, after our data dig and needs assessments were complete, we complete a new ASCA Mindset and Behaviors for student success and are submitted for the year.

Professional Standards

• Each year my team holds ourselves to The ASCA ethical standards, professional standards and competencies for school counselors.

• Program Focus​, Student Drop Out Prevention and other data driven Goals, Beliefs, Vision Statement​, Mission Statement​, Program Planning​, Action Plans, Lesson Plans, Use of Time and Calendars on ASCA templates reviewed as a team at the start of each school year and submitted to the county. 

• School data review and reflection quarterly. 

• Annual self assessment, goal setting, observations and evalutions with my evaluating administrator.

• Student Services Advisory Council developed and then meets twice a year.

• Data dig between school years to see how students are different as well as a program review.

• Weekly administration & counselor team check ins, student services support team meeting, intervention MTSS meetings, leadership meetings and kid talk meetings allow for continuous data review over the school year.  

• Annual results reports.

• School counselor evaluation tool, as well as supervisor evaluation of my interns. 

• Professional development.
