Child Adoption is the social, emotional, and legal process in which children who will not be raised by their birth parents become full and permanent legal members of another family while maintaining genetic and psychological connections to their birth family. Adoption has many facets and touches people in different ways—depending on their role and perspective.
Adoption is a very important topic for me because my siblings and I were all adopted. My parents were unfit so we were taken away from they, but thankfully my grandparents adopted all three of us. The choice to adopt a child will change that child's life. It is important to adopt because there are so many children in the foster care system that would love a family to call their own.
