About Me

My name is Emily DelRoss, I am the 8th grade English Language Arts teacher at High Point Academy.  This is my eleventh year at HPA.  I have spent the last 19 years living in Colorado.  I grew up in Wisconsin and lived in California while finishing my bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from San Jose State University.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  My husband and I enjoy golfing in the warm weather months.  We also love cooking all types of food.  I am a big sports fan of Wisconsin teams.  Go Pack Go!  I am also learning to love the Rockies and the Nuggets.  Sorry, Broncos!  As a Language Arts teacher, it's not surprising that I also enjoy reading.  I can't go without mentioning our cats.  They are sister black cats.
