During the Easter season, the Regina Caeli (Also spelled "Regina Coeli") is traditionally prayed in place of the Angelus. This prayer is in the 6th grade curriculum. They don't need to have it memorized, but they should have a basic familiarity with it. We'll use it as one of our classroom prayers during the Easter Season.
