Check back for religion class notes here! Some days, students will take notes during class, but I'll try to add them here as well in case anything gets missed. **I'm adding some extra details in the notes I post online - Things that I'll say out loud in class but don't expect the class to write down in the interest of keeping their notes manageable and focused. *I kept up all of the notes I had up last year. I'll add to and edit them as the year goes on, and I'll let you know on the homework page what you need to know/study.
Note the drop down arrow above where there will be separate sections for 5th and 6th grade notes. (Sometimes - such as on holy days that are part of both grades' curriculums - both classes will have the same notes.)
When studying for tests, you should pay special attention to:
notes
parts of the textbooks that we highlighted in class
key words
bulleted lists in the book
questions asked in the book's chapter review
Think about the questions that came up in class as we reviewed. Was there anything that you didn't remember or that was hard for you? Focus on that when you study!
In the students' religion copybooks, I'm trying to have them use the front of their notebook for notes and handouts, and use the back of their notebook for prayers and religion journal answers, so that they just need to use the front of their notebook to study and the "extra" stuff won't be mixed in. (I'll let you know in advance if a prayer comes along that they'll be tested on!)
