Hello! My name is Carin Chumbley, and I am honored to serve as the school counselor at Clear Creek Elementary.

As a counselor with 21 years of experience, I am passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. My goal is to support every child in developing the skills they need to thrive ~ understanding emotions, building healthy relationships, solving problems, managing challenges, and developing confidence in themselves.

I believe that relationships are at the heart of a successful school experience. When children feel connected, valued, and understood, they are better able to learn, grow, and reach their potential. My hope is to build strong relationships with students, families, and staff so that every child feels supported and encouraged.

Originally from Northern California, my husband and I moved to Texas in 2023 to be closer to our son and his growing family. I am grateful to now call this community home and excited to be part of the Clear Creek Elementary family.

I believe every child has unique strengths and gifts. My goal is to help students recognize those strengths, develop confidence in their abilities, and build the skills they need to navigate challenges successfully. By fostering meaningful relationships and creating opportunities for growth, we can empower children to see themselves as capable, resilient, and valued members of our school community.
