My goal is to help all students experience success socially, emotionally and academically. To do this I work with students individually and in groups, in addition to regular classroom guidance lessons. I employ a solution-focused perspective to school counseling, which I believe empowers students to appreciate and build on their strengths and life experiences. Also, helping move them forward to the things they desire for their future. Counseling at school is designed to equip students with healthy coping skills for self-regulation, improve friendship/social skills, and to teach positive problem-solving & decision-making skills.
