Assessments

EWCSD utilizes a variety of assessments to monitor student growth and achievement. Our teachers engage in daily informal formative assessments to make timely decision about whether a student understands the material and concepts being presented. We also utilize several summative assessments to determine if a student has mastered grade level skills and standards.

Academic Honesty

Students are expected to complete their own work.

  • Plagiarism is the use of any idea or phrasing of an idea traceable to a single source without proper acknowledgment. Plagiarism is also turning in someone else’s work as your own or supplying your work to another student for him/her to use.

  • Academic dishonesty includes copying homework, websites, requesting to access other student's work, sharing classwork, quiz, and test answers from other students with or without their permissions.

  • Students who work ‘together’ should not have identical work.”

Students who elect to make academic dishonest choices will not receive credit for the assignment.
