Lesson Plan Examples and Lessons

This art project had multiple steps to create a basket of apples for our fall painting activity. This group had multiple grade ranges from Kindergarten to 5th grade.

This is an art activity that highlighted community helpers. In each station, we worked through activities that helped identify, describe, and helped students learn about different community helpers. We would read a story about a community helper, complete an art project, play with manipulatives that were themed to the community helper, and complete a writing activity featuring a letter or number.

Here is an example lesson plan I created for an ELA lesson comparing and contrasting works from the same author. As we read different books from the same author, we compared and contrasted the two texts.
