We may implement Remind in the classroom, which is a texting tool that allows for me to send texts to teach student to do a miscellany of things, i.e. reminding them of an upcoming due date, informing them on what to bring to class, or making changes to the class schedule. For English classes, we are primarily concerned with the reading and writing standards, however, teaching all the standards is the obligation of all your student's teachers collectively!
