Experience and education
° I have been teaching in NJ public school system for over 22 years including the last six years with Woodbridge School District. I have taught at all levels from middle school to colleges and universities.
° I obtained my Bachelor's degree in history and then my Master's degree in Education from the University of Montreal (Quebec); a Juris Doctor degree in law from the Université de Moncton (New-Brunswick, Canada) and a Ph.D. IN FRENCH AND FRANCOPHONE LITERATURE from the City University of New York (CUNY-Graduate Center). I like to write and do book reviews. I have written two books so far. The first book is entitled ''L’enseignement de l’histoire nationale : états des lieux et perspectives'' (Montréal, Cidihca, 2000) and the second, ''La Révolution haïtienne dans l’imaginaire occidental : occultation, banalisation et trivialisation'' (Port-au-Prince, UEH, 2017). My third book has just been released In Paris with the French Publishing House L'Harmattan under the title: ''Éloge de l'altérité: penser la race, le racisme, l'identité et les frontières nationales'', July 2021. My very first novel entitled LES AFFRES D'UNE RANÇON: CHRONIQUE D'UN KIDNAPPING was released June 25. I have also published multiple scholarly articles in various specialized journal and magazines.
Hobbies: reading, playing viola once in a while, traveling
