For my second artifact, I used Pear Deck to create an interactive presentation. Pear Deck is an add on for Google Slides that allows you to ask questions during your presentations and have students respond on their computer. Once the students have inputted their response, you can display all or some of the responses on the projection. This is a great way to make your presentations more interactive and to gather formative assessment/feedback on the fly.
At the end of your presentation you can gather all your information in a Google Doc so students can easily review the information.
Below I have made a video (split into two parts) to demonstrate how Pear Deck works and to show the interactive nature of it. At the bottom of the page is a sample copy of the presentation, however it lacks the interactive features.
