As someone who loves Social Studies, I feel that it is my civic duty to educate the next generation of American citizens. This should be done in a positive learning experience where all students opinions matter. I strive to create this environment to encourage communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and inquiry/research skills. I teach because I care about the future of America and want to see all students succeed both in and out of the classroom.
