To assess students’ listening comprehension in a fun and age-appropriate way, I will conduct two simple activities: Listen and Act and Listen and Circle.
To assess students’ listening comprehension in a fun and age-appropriate way, I will conduct two simple activities: Listen and Act and Listen and Circle.
In the Listen and Act activity, students will respond to basic classroom instructions such as “Stand up,” “Sit down,” or “Open your book” by performing the correct actions. This helps evaluate their ability to understand and follow spoken commands in real time.
The Listen and Circle activity focuses on vocabulary recognition. Students will listen to words like “pen,” “poster,” “chair,” etc., and circle the correct picture from a set of images. To make this activity more interactive and accessible, I created it using Liveworksheets.com, which allows students to complete the task online with audio and visual supportsupport, or simply just download and print the file from Google Docs.
Together, these activities provide a clear and engaging way to evaluate listening skills while keeping young learners motivated and confident.
