The Stephen P. Stich Award for Career Achievement in Moral Psychology
The Stephen P. Stich Award for Career Achievement in Moral Psychology
No one has contributed more to the emergence of interdisciplinary moral psychology as a thriving academic discipline than Stephen Stich. Over a 55-year career, Steve authored and edited 20 books, and over 200 articles, which have been reprinted nearly 100 times in 9 languages. This remarkable corpus captures only a fraction of Steve’s impact; the future of moral psychology is being shaped by first, second, third, and even fourth generation Stich students and mentees, and it was Steve who founded the Moral Psychology Research Group in April 2003. The Stephen P. Stich Award for Career Achievement in Moral Psychology honors Steve’s fierce intelligence, indomitable leadership, and staunch friendship.
