I started planning and running open mic events in High School through the OCVTS Tech Club. Once I graduated and started at UNH, I continued this passion with the Music Industry Club's Coffee House Open Mics. Showcasing up-and-coming local artists to wider local communities is my favorite way to support them on their journey.
To the left are pictures from my first few open mic events in High School. For more recent ones, find them in the Music Industry Club section.
The Ocean Gate Beach Concert Series stared when I was in High School as well. This was a town event, free and open to anybody who wanted to go to it, showcasing local bands and a bonfire tended by the volunteer fire brigade. As an OCVTS student I was given the opportunity to both work at and plan these shows, and was involved in every step from booking to clean up. We made a point to leave the beach looking better than when we got there, not leaving until every piece of trash or firewood was accounted for and properly disposed of.
