Most of these stems were aquired through projects in high school and mixed for in-class projects. Others were from friends and family for my own personal practice.
This was a project done by three vocalists in my highschool, singing to a karaoke track. The multitrack recording was done in the school's studio using one mic for each vocalist. It was then mixed in ProTools by me.
Seems to Me is a song my the NJ local band Ernest. These stems were given to me to practice mixing by a high school teacher who recorded them, and this is my final mix of the song.
I recorded this demo for a friend publishing music under the name Ryan King. This was the first recording and mix of a demo that he later fully recorded and released.
A teacher from my highschool gave me these stems after working with Jimmy Eat World for a summer, and used it as an assignment in my Audio Engineering Class in 2020.
These stems were also provided by a teacher in high school and used as a mixing assignment. The focus of this particular lesson was to work with vocals that aren't meant to sound classically pretty, and still make them sound good. (2020)
These stems were given to me by a teacher in my high school, Bill Bourke. This was my final mixing project my senior year in my Audio Engineering IV class. The assignment was to mix this with minimal automation and editing of the tracks, proving to be quite difficult since on a single track there could be any combination of vocals, percussion, and other instruments.
