A Proud Milestone in My Teaching Journey: Felicitation by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana

As part of the Telangana Government’s initiative to expose teachers to global best practices in education, I had the privilege of visiting Finland to study its innovative and student-centered education system. I, Jajala Srinivas, a teacher from Mandal Parishad Primary School, Akkapelliguda, participated in this educational study tour and gained valuable insights into modern teaching methods, learning environments, and effective classroom practices followed in Finland. After returning from the tour, I implemented several innovative ideas and improved teaching practices in my school. As a result of these efforts, the student enrollment in my school increased significantly from 340 to 453 students. Recognizing this remarkable achievement and my contribution towards strengthening government school education, I was honoured and felicitated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana. This recognition has encouraged me to continue working with greater dedication towards providing quality education and creating a better learning environment for students.

Educational Tour

An educational tour, also known as a school excursion or field trip, is a planned journey by students and teachers to explore destinations outside the classroom for educational purposes. These trips are designed to enhance learning, provide real-world experiences, and expose students to different cultures, environments, and historical sites.

As part of the trip, on 10-04-2025, children from Akkapeliguda School were taken to visit the Kadem Project and were shown and explained the features of the place to the children. The children were served delicious meals amidst beautiful nature. The children had a great time during this trip.

Gurukula Seats

Our school children can gain admission to Gurukul (residential educational institutions) through a common entrance test (TGCET), with priority given to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and those belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Backward Classes.

Graduation Ceremony

For the first time, a graduation ceremony was held at MPPS Akka Pelliguda in Jannaram Mandal under the leadership of Headmaster Jajala Srinivas. As part of the program, which has not been done in any government school so far, a Graduation Ceremony was organized on the occasion of moving from pre-primary to primary and the Patta was handed over to the children by Honourable Mandal Education Officer Sri Nadimetla Vijay Kumar.

In memory of retired teacher and veteran Sri Devarasetty Kishan, his sons Sri Dyavarasetty Sridhar and Sri Devarasetty Srikanth handed over the dresses to the students for the graduation ceremony.

GURUDAKSHINA EVENT

Students who have completed fifth grade in the 2024-25 academic year gifted to the school a printer worth Rs. 13,000.

Former Sarpanch Sri Jakku Bhumesh, Sri Anumula Rajanna and Sri Thota Lachanna garu, who financially supported the Annual Festival of the School were felicitated by the students.

Before the Badibata program, 32 new children were enrolled on Telangana State Formation Day.
