Grandmaster C.K. Chu designed Eternal Spring to help people living in these times to improve their health and learn the basic principles of tai chi chuan. Chi Kung (or “qi gong”) focuses on the fundamentals of breathing, posture alignment and body strengthening techniques. Similar to those practiced by the most serious martial artists, these techniques are wonderful as a daily routine to revitalize, heal and strengthen one’s body in a holistic way. Whether you are looking for a gentle, effective way to improve your health or are interested in supplementing your Tai Chi, Eternal Spring Chi Kung is a system designed to teach you the basics of tai chi.
Eternal Spring Chi Kung is:
- Easier to learn than the Tai Chi form
yet still highly effective.
- Cultivates inner vital life force, or “chi.”
- Accessible to people of all ages and
body types regardless of their fitness
level.
- Improves overall strength and health.
- Properly aligns the body and increase
range of motion.
- No rigorous physical activity such as
jumping, bouncing or pounding on the
joints.
- Simple to practice alone.
- Fits into any work schedule.
In Eternal Spring Class, everyone does the same thing together at the same time. The instructor may occasionally walk around and give individualized instruction. You can join class any time, no need to wait for a start date.
