NEED MONEY FOR SCHOOL?

The easiest way to get Money for College or a Career School is through Private Scholarships. Students can start Researching Scholarships as early as 9th grade. Below you will find a List of Private Scholarship Websites or Databases. You may find this resource useful when searching for scholarships and with getting free money to help you pay for school. You can apply for as many scholarships as you wish; there is not set number or amount.

Also keep in mind that the school you get accepted into may not only have Merit Based Scholarships, but they also have their own Institutional Scholarships that you can apply for. Check with the school or their websites for additional Scholarship Information.  Also be aware of Scholarship Scams, they are real!

Four Year University Scholarships:

Most Four Year Universities offer students Scholarships; most of these scholarships are based on your Grade Point Average (GPA). 

Maricopa Community College Scholarships:

Maricopa Community College has a variety of scholarships. It does not matter which Maricopa Community College you attend. Log onto their website to view available scholarships Maricopa Community College Scholarships

Will you have an Unweighted GPA of 3.25 or Higher when you graduate?

How about an Unweighted GPA of 2.5?

• If the answer was Yes to a 3.25 GPA or higher, then you qualify for the President's Honors Scholarship at any Maricopa Community College.

  • Just think about it, your 1st two years of college at any Maricopa Community College can be paid for based off your Unweighted GPA of 3.25 or Higher. if you maintain that 3.25 GPA through your 1st year of college and your 2nd year could be paid for as well. The Honors Scholarship will save you lots of $$$ for your first 2 years of college. When you complete your 2 years at the Community College your credits will transfer to one of the In-State Universities.
