Bungoma

Bungoma High School, the only all-boys Extra County boarding school located in the Township area of Bungoma County, has expressed interest in initiating an environmental club as part of our outreach efforts during the tour. The school's enthusiasm was ignited by one student's passion for environmental issues and the support of their deputy headmaster, Mr. Toili, prompting them to seek assistance.

To successfully launch this initiative, the school requires help with mentorship and resources. Our goal is to facilitate a student-led project that will not only benefit their institution but also extend its impact to the wider community. Support may include guidance on project development, as well as resources such as educational materials, tools for environmental activities, and connections to organisations both within and outside the region that focus on sustainability for trips and collaborations.

Furthermore, we aim to enhance their efforts in tree planting and other environmental initiatives, fostering a culture of ecological stewardship among students.
