About

I am a Kenyan writer and filmmaker who has recently specialised in eco-cinema and social justice filmmaking. As a devoted multimedia storyteller and mentor, and co-founder of MountainFilm Kenya, I feel honoured to take these films to the villages of Kenya. Cinema is a wonderful way to bring us together, and through the lens, we realise that across the globe, we have unique experiences but can speak the same language through film. 

I'm an aspiring conservationist and musician, who's passionate about supporting impactful projects in the conservation and humanitarian fields. I love working with bright minds to build innovative solutions to real challenges in our community. I'm the co-founder of Animal Activists Kenya and MountainFilm Kenya, two of my main charity projects. I also absolutely love the outdoors!

I am an East African writer and filmmaker whose passion for the arts is driven by the belief that art and revolution are intertwined. I studied film production in the U.K., earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, and have since relocated back to Kenya to practice my craft at home. I believe in the power of storytelling, especially when the message is as significant as this one. 

 I am an economist working with the county government of Bungoma. I have a passion for art, nature and the environment. To see a group dedicated to eco-cinema wanting to venture into the hinterlands of Kenya is an amazing thing. I look forward to participating and achieving quantifiable positive results from this endeavour. 

I am a teacher by profession with a passion for working with children of all ages to inspire them to learn about the world they live in. Young minds are easy to inspire and nurture. It is an honour to be part of MountainFilm Kenya.
