The Three R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
(4 -7 Years)
Nuria Roca, Illustrated by Rosa M. Curto
The three Rs teach us different ways to reduce environmental pollution. When we reduce the number of things we throw away, like plastic bags, we help keep the land we live in clean and the water we drink fresh. When we reuse things, for example, if we wear clothes that our older brother has left too small, we help conserve resources. When we recycle paper, cans and empty bottles and take them to recycling centers, these objects are used to do new things. The three words that start with the letter R teach us how to take care of our planet.
