Slab and Lumber: Please be aware of the size of the material needed for your project with each purchase. Morriss Wood LLC is not liable for cracking/check or other imperfections like metal found before or during your working of the wood after purchase. Morriss Wood LLC DOES NOT USE A METAL DETECTOR. We occasionally cut metal on the sawmill, and it is then present. Morriss Wood LLC is NOT LIABLE if we miss metal until you find it from planing or sanding. There are no returns - PERIOD. All sales are final at the time of purchase.

Kiln Services: Morriss Wood LLC is in no way liable for any twisting, cracking/check, or defects that may come about of your wood brought to our kiln. For more information and questions, don't hesitate to contact us anytime, and we can communicate what might work best for you.

Custom Mill Works Sizing:

We will not overwork our mill with 16' long and 36" diameter logs. Nor do we process logs under 6' or under 12" diameter. The large logs are too heavy for our equipment and not worth the hassle. The small logs create much time for setup; though we can cut small items, dollars to hours, you end up paying more, and you may not get the results you are looking for. Please do not ask for exceptions. Let's talk about your project and see if it is a fit for our mill. 

Non Refundable Deposits:

Deposits*: Non-refundable deposits go as follows. 50% down. You must provide your name, phone number, and address. We accept cash, cards, bank-certified checks, PayPal, and Venmo. All payments other than cash include a fee of 3.5% of the total purchase.

Changes**: Changes consist of Moisture content, bark falling off, chips, scratches, discolorations, breakage, lost or stolen. 

Deliveries:

Morriss Wood LLC will deliver up to 15 from our location for a fee of $50. Our max travel is 40 miles for a fee of $100. This includes but is not limited to firewood, slab wood, dimensional lumber, discs, rounds, cutoffs, or any product of Morriss Wood LLC not listed here.

Pickup Orders:

Firewood location is Holly MI 48442. Please call ahead of time before showing up. Times can be delayed from other deliveries or the preparation of your order.

Sawmill product purchases or viewings (Slabs, dimensional lumber, rounds, cutoffs, custom mill works, drop-offs) are at Holly MI 48442. Please call ahead for scheduling.
