When you get custom millwork done by Morriss Wood LLC, you can quickly get what you need. We are not a portable mill, but we can process wood from 12" to 35 1/2" in diameter and lengths of 6' to 16' (*). Feel free to contact us with your needs and see if we can accommodate them. With the Wood-Mizer LX150, Morriss Wood LLC can cut to any dimension with great accuracy. Understanding a log and the best possibilities for your project can become a reality. But we don't use a metal detector. ( We have had logs with six nails in six different places and can drive the cost of blades fast).

Aside from custom milling, our typical rough-sawn slabs or dimensional lumber include 1/16 - 1/8" added thickness. This is to help with your projects in achieving maximum thickness even after kiln drying and planing.

Logistics from you and us will be needed to find the time to drop off your logs. Every customer can choose what each log can be, but. It's just a part of custom mill works. All directions will be documented and agreed upon before any work starts. 

Morriss Wood LLC does require a down payment for milling any logs.
