Origin: New America

Imps are genetically the closest to humans. Imps have a tail (or two) and one set of horns. Imps came into the Isles of Eden after a bunch of them escaped from hell as demons (along with Succibi.) These demons were banned from most territories in the Isles, but achieved liberty after almost a decade. Most of them have fangs as an evolutionary trait. After many centuries, they developed more natural skin tones, other than shades of purple. Imps are the most abundant species in the Isles. Imps work wherever they want, as Imps have the most genetic diversity.

Origin: East Yakis/Paloma

Boarlins look like pigs/wild boars. Fur colors are mostly skintones, and eye color may vary. All of them are digigrade (bent legs) Boarlins were the second to evolve after Starks. Boarlins are different from Domestico because they do not share a common ancestor. Boarlins are really good at playing music, and also being mysterious. In recent years, Boarlins have been susceptible to discrimination due to a new campaign by the Mayor of Overgrowth.

Origin: Tai-vas

Tigrims come in all shapes and sizes. They can have more animalistic faces, or have a more human appearance but with ears and a tail. Tigrim don't have to be tiger based, and in recent years, different species of felines have come up. Tigrims have a large military culture, so most of Yakis' army is Tigrims. They are known to be shorter, in tradeoff for their immense strength. Pro Tip: don't get into a fight with one of these cats.

Origin: Europe

Mimics look like Imps, but have different tails, and longer, more straight horns. Mimics are known to slip into the human realm and hunt humans, not only for food, but also for sport. Every year on December 24th, they are able to slip out in massive groups and kill. They have the ability to shapeshift, although taking a lot of energy to fully pull off, gives a huge advantage in attacks. Mimics love to enter into government jobs, too. The Mayor of Overgrowth himself, is one. Mimics also are the only species to have originated from modern human beings. Nobody knows where they came from.. except "Europa"... "Euruope".. or whatever those humans call it.

Origin: New America

Succbi, or Inccubi, are a species similar to imps, however, they have wings and two sets of horns, and have no tails. Like Imps, they also migrated from the depths of hell and evolved from a blue color, to more natural skintones. It is a common misconception and harmful stereotype that all Succibi/Inccubi are sex obsessed. This comes from the fact that in Succbian culture, love can be shared with everybody, Platonic or Romantic. Succubi enjoy social jobs and are commonly known to go into aviation fields.  Most Succbi's wings don't allow them flight due to the lack of necessity, mainly used to slow down their landings.

Origin: Gulf of Trevite

Starks are similar to sharks, except they have 4 eyes and can come in more colors. Starks were the first to evolve after humans were expelled from the Isles of Eden. They have a mixture of lungs and gills so they can be both in water and on land. The reason why they arent grouped with Altius is because they can live on land, and also because they dont share a common ancestor. Starks and Altius mixes are extremely rare due to genetic differences, but not impossible...

Origin: Haza

Ashya are a species that have an object as their head. These species have their brains, skulls, etc. inside of such object. The object is made out of their skin and can regenerate. Their intestines' are very similar to a human's system. The head is connected by a lot of very small nerves and translucent bones. There is no skin protecting the neck at all. Most Ashya, in turn, wear scarves or turtlenecks to protect them from the elements. Ashya mostly work in fashion jobs, as sometimes, they are the ones that benefit from some turtleneck/scarf trends.

Origin: Gulf of Trevite

Altius, unlike Starks, can only be on the surface for 24-36 hours before they must go back into the water. if they stay out for too long, the lack of moisture will kill them. Luckily, GL industries and their CEO, Fritz Cadente, came up with a solution to this problem. They can look more fish-like, or maybe they can have a candle on their head. Being an Altius is characterized by the disability to breathe air, while having aquatic-like features. Altiuses normally work in jobs that require underwater work, typically oil pipe repairs.

Origin: Nāg

Rodensians are usually pretty small/short people with large tails. Very weak in combat, but are very smart and extremely good at talking. Almost all Rodensians go into business roles, many choosing to join the Mafia to expand their businesses even further. Very rarely will you see a tall Rodensian, but it happens.

Origin: Qalea

Reptillians are a species of which takes pride in having power. Reptillians originate in Qalea, and evolved during "The Great Drought" of BC 1400. However, Reptillians, are not all that evil as a human would think. Most of them perfer to work in places of management to better workplace environments, as it is in their blood to help others. It is an instinct created by their desire to feel praised.

Origin: Cinistaria

Caninia are a species of pride and often try to come ontop due to the culture that the strongest is the leader. This species has contributed mostly to studies about political science, as the younger generation tries to understand why things are they way they are. Caninia are characterized by being Digigrade, having pelts, and having the apperance of a Canine.

Origin: Suraiba

Domesticoians mostly gravitate to the trades rather than Boarlins related careers, of which are more likely to be musicians. Domesticoians are very hard working people and have a culture of peace and hard work. They are like Tigrims, having the variety of being humaniod and anthro-like.

Origin: West Yakis

Deerlings are outliers in this world. Normally, they are based off an element. While having the characteristics of a "deer", they are (usually) skinnier, and have cannibalistic tendancies. They also have sharper teeth. The photo above, while being a hybrid of a Deerling and a Altius (and is also male), it shows that Deerlings can have more genetic diversity than what you would think. Deerlings are likely to become butchers, or hunters.

Origin: Paloma

Hashara are bug-human whatevers. They dont do much, except have the capability to fly or not, depending on the type. These guys typically work in security, as they dont have magic or whatnot, only their own strength to assist them with doing jobs that may be easier to other species. They are the lowest, yet somehow more rarest of species on the isles.

Origin: Qalea

Shadowlings are beings made from pure darkness... well not really. Their body is, but their soul is not. Shadowlings, while looking scary, are probably one of the nicest species to run into. They have zero vendetta against humans, and normally just go about their day. There's a whole discrict in Yakis dedicated to their culture and food. Sadly, only Shadowlings can eat shadow food. Who would have thought?

We generally do not know what the Council is cooking up next: not to fret, when they make a debut in the show, information gets posted here about it.

To answer a long standing question: Yes, crossbreeds exist.

We should also note: Harpies exist, they just have since been mixed in with other species, their purest forme does not exist anymore.
