I am a third-year PhD candidate in the Janzen lab at MSU studying behavioral ecology, comparative endocrinology, and behavioral "omics." Broadly, I am interested in understanding the proximate and ultimate causes and consequences of behavioral repeatability or behavioral syndromes. In my research, I aim to determine how individual animal behavior types are expressed and how these characteristics may influence how organisms interact with a changing world.
Before attending grad school, I taught high school life science for four years. I am passionate about teaching, student mentorship, and K-12 education and outreach. Check out the tabs above to contact me or learn more about my research, teaching, and outreach!
