I am a fourth-year PhD candidate in the Janzen lab at MSU studying behavioral ecology, comparative endocrinology, and behavioral "omics." Broadly, I am interested in understanding the proximate and ultimate causes and consequences of behavioral repeatability or behavioral syndromes. In my research, I aim to determine how consistent individual variation in behavior may influence broader ecological and evolutionary processes, and how organisms cope with environmental changes.
Before attending grad school, I taught high school life science for four years. I am passionate about teaching, student mentorship, and K-12 education and outreach.
I also love to incorporate art in science. Check out the tabs above to contact me, learn more about my research, teaching, outreach, and art!
