Juliana delivered a training session on Reproducible Research as part of the Keele Doctoral Academy programme From Idea to Impact: Research Development Series (October 2025).
Juliana is the local organiser for the Materials and Molecular Modelling (MMM) Hub & UKCP Conference and User Meeting 2025, which will take place from 15 to 18 September 2025 at Keele University (August 2025).
Juliana is delighted to be part of the team that has been awarded a Royal Society Partnership Seed Grant to work with local schools and inspire interest in STEM careers (August 2025).

Juliana delivered a training session at the Keele Open Research Network on "Seven Steps Toward Reproducible Research", as part of the UKRN Train-the-Trainer programme (May 2025).
For the third year in a row, Juliana spoke about science at Pint of Science 2025. This year, her talk celebrated the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology and explored how quantum mechanics shapes our understanding of the world and its impact on our everyday lives (May 2025).
We are organizing the 4th edition of the UK Symposium on Materials for Sustainability, which will take place at Keele University on 1st July.
Dr Juliana Morbec and Dr Nilanthy Balakrishnan teamed up again to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science at Keele in Town (Newcastle-under-Lyme), engaging visitors of all ages in discussions about renewable energy (February 2025).
Exciting news! Our group has joined the Materials Chemistry Consortium (MCC). Juliana presented our projects at the 38th MCC Meeting. We look forward to future collaborations (January 2025).
We are delighted to share that our group has been awarded HPC resources on Isambard3 through the UKRI Access to High-Performance Computing Facilities call - Autumn 2024 (January 2025).
Juliana is part of the organizing commitee of the PhD summer school of the Materials for Quantum Network (M4QN), which will take place in June 2025 at the Royce Hub Building (January 2025).
