Moqaysa | مقايسة (“Moqaysa”, “the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is developed and published by EMAD DEV.

This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected or processed when you use Moqaysa, why it is used, how it may be stored or shared, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect and Process

Depending on the features you use, Moqaysa may collect or process the following categories of information:

Account and Authentication Information

Moqaysa requires account authentication for account-based features. When Google Sign-In is used, authentication information may include:

·         your email address;

·         Firebase user ID;

·         Google account name;

·         Google profile photo; and

·         authentication tokens or identifiers required to securely sign you in.

Authentication is handled using Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication.

Project and Construction Data

Moqaysa processes information that you enter or create in the App, which may include:

·         project names;

·         client names;

·         project locations;

·         project notes and descriptions;

·         BOQ items;

·         quantities and measurements;

·         rates and prices;

·         material information;

·         procurement and purchasing information;

·         contractor and payment-certificate information;

·         project-control information;

·         construction calculation inputs and results;

·         structural takeoff and reinforcement-related project information;

·         reports and other project records.

This information is provided by you and is used to provide the App’s project, calculation, reporting, and management features.

Company and Report Information

If you choose to configure company or report information, Moqaysa may process:

·         company name;

·         phone number;

·         email address;

·         company address;

·         preparer or representative name;

·         report notes;

·         company logo; and

·         other information you choose to include in generated reports.

Application Preferences

The App may store preferences such as:

·         application language;

·         report language;

·         appearance and theme;

·         selected accent;

·         currency;

·         unit system;

·         material pricing preferences;

·         synchronization settings; and

·         other application preferences.

Diagnostic and Performance Information

Moqaysa may use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance Monitoring to help identify crashes, failed operations, performance problems, slow startup, synchronization problems, and similar reliability issues.

Diagnostic information may include technical or pseudonymous identifiers, device or application information, crash information, performance measurements, and information about the operation that failed.

Moqaysa is designed not to intentionally include your name or email address in its application diagnostic breadcrumbs.

Advertising and Consent Information

The free version of Moqaysa may display advertising, including banner advertisements and rewarded advertisements used for certain free-access features.

Advertising services may process device identifiers, advertising-related information, approximate technical information, and interaction information in accordance with their own privacy practices and applicable consent requirements.

Where required, Moqaysa uses Google’s consent-management functionality to request or manage advertising and privacy choices. Where available, you may review or change applicable privacy choices from within the App.

Moqaysa does not itself sell your personal information to advertisers.

2. How We Use Information

We use information processed through Moqaysa to:

·         authenticate users and maintain account access;

·         provide project and construction-management functionality;

·         perform quantity, BOQ, material, project-control, and related calculations;

·         save and synchronize eligible project information between devices;

·         generate PDF and Excel reports and exports;

·         display user-selected company information and branding in reports;

·         provide backup and restore functionality;

·         provide and verify eligible Free and Pro features;

·         process Pro purchases through Google Play Billing;

·         provide rewarded-ad-supported features where applicable;

·         maintain application preferences;

·         diagnose crashes, synchronization failures, and performance problems;

·         protect application services against abuse and unauthorized access;

·         improve application reliability and user support; and

·         comply with applicable legal or platform requirements.

3. Firebase and Cloud Synchronization

Moqaysa uses Firebase services for account and cloud functionality.

Eligible information may be stored in Firebase Firestore under the authenticated user’s account, including project information, applicable payment-certificate or project records, settings, company text information, and pricing preferences.

Not every locally stored file or asset is necessarily uploaded to Firestore. For example, embedded logo files may be handled through backup mechanisms rather than Firestore synchronization.

Firebase App Check may also be used to help protect backend resources against unauthorized or abusive requests.

4. Google Drive

Moqaysa may request permission to use your Google Drive for optional functionality such as:

·         full application backups;

·         restoration of backups;

·         storage or archiving of generated PDF exports;

·         storage or archiving of generated Excel exports; and

·         storage of backup assets such as embedded logos where applicable.

Google Drive access is used only after the required authorization is granted.

Data stored through this functionality remains associated with your Google account and is subject to Google’s applicable terms and privacy practices.

If you delete your Moqaysa account using the in-app Delete account and data function, the App attempts to delete Moqaysa data stored in Google Drive as part of the account-deletion process.

5. Purchases and Pro Features

Moqaysa may offer paid features through Google Play Billing, including an annual Pro subscription and a one-time Pro Lifetime purchase where available.

Payment information such as your full card details is handled by Google Play and is not provided directly to Moqaysa.

Purchase information and identifiers necessary to verify and maintain your entitlement may be processed through Google Play and Moqaysa’s secure backend services.

6. Advertising

Moqaysa may display banner and rewarded advertisements to eligible users.

Rewarded advertisements may be offered in exchange for specific temporary or limited free functionality according to the App’s current Free/Pro rules.

Advertising availability, personalization, and privacy choices may depend on your region, consent status, account status, and applicable platform requirements.

Users with an applicable paid entitlement may receive a different advertising experience according to the current product rules.

7. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal data.

Information may be processed by third-party service providers when necessary to operate App functionality, including services such as:

·         Firebase Authentication;

·         Firebase Firestore;

·         Firebase Cloud Functions;

·         Firebase App Check;

·         Firebase Crashlytics;

·         Firebase Performance Monitoring;

·         Google Sign-In;

·         Google Drive;

·         Google Play Billing; and

·         Google advertising and consent-management services where advertising is enabled.

These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or valid governmental requests, or to protect users, the App, or our legal rights.

8. Local Storage

Some Moqaysa information is stored locally on your device.

Depending on the feature and your settings, local data may include projects, preferences, cached information, pricing data, report configuration, and other application information.

Removing the App from your device may remove locally stored application data, but it does not necessarily delete information already synchronized to cloud services or backed up to Google Drive.

Use the App’s deletion controls if you want to remove cloud or account-associated data.

9. Data Retention

Moqaysa retains account and cloud information as necessary to provide the services you use and until the information is deleted through the available deletion controls, subject to technical, security, legal, backup, or service-provider requirements.

Information stored in your own Google Drive remains there until deleted by you or through Moqaysa’s applicable deletion functionality.

Diagnostic information may be retained by the relevant service provider according to its applicable retention settings and policies.

10. Your Choices and Controls

Depending on your account and enabled features, Moqaysa provides controls that may allow you to:

·         sign out;

·         manage synchronization;

·         create or restore backups;

·         manage applicable advertising/privacy choices;

·         clear local application data;

·         delete cloud data; and

·         permanently delete your Moqaysa account and associated data.

Deleting only local data does not necessarily delete synchronized cloud or Google Drive data.

11. Account and Data Deletion

You can initiate deletion from within Moqaysa through the Account & Privacy / Privacy & Delete controls.

The Delete account and data process is designed to delete:

·         Moqaysa data stored in Google Drive;

·         applicable Moqaysa data stored in Firebase Firestore;

·         the associated Firebase Authentication account; and

·         local Moqaysa application data on the device.

For security, you may be required to reauthenticate before account deletion.

If the required remote deletion cannot be completed, the deletion process may stop and report an error rather than intentionally leaving a partially deleted account.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled by Moqaysa.

These measures may include authenticated access, Firebase security mechanisms, App Check, secure purchase verification, and restricted access to account-associated cloud data.

However, no electronic storage, transmission, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

13. Children’s Privacy

Moqaysa is a professional construction and productivity application and is not designed specifically for children.

We do not knowingly design the service for the collection of personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App inappropriately, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

14. International Processing

Service providers used by Moqaysa may process information on servers located in countries other than your country of residence.

By using cloud, authentication, advertising, billing, or related online functionality, information may be processed according to the infrastructure and policies of those service providers and applicable law.

15. Third-Party Services

Moqaysa relies on third-party services for certain functionality.

Your use of those services may also be governed by the applicable provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Moqaysa does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party providers.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Moqaysa’s functionality, service providers, legal requirements, or privacy practices change.

When the policy is materially updated, the effective date will be revised.

You should review this policy periodically.
