Moqaysa | مقايسة — Data Deletion Instructions

Moqaysa | مقايسة provides in-app controls that allow users to remove local data, cloud data, or permanently delete their account and associated Moqaysa data.

Delete Your Account and Associated Data

To permanently delete your Moqaysa account:

1.      Open Moqaysa | مقايسة.

2.      Open Settings.

3.      Open Account & Privacy.

4.      Open Privacy & Delete, if shown as a separate section.

5.      Choose Delete account and data.

6.      Review the deletion warning.

7.      Complete any required account reauthentication.

8.      Confirm permanent deletion.

For security, Google Sign-In or another supported authentication method may require you to confirm your identity again before deletion can proceed.

What “Delete Account and Data” Deletes

The in-app permanent account-deletion process is designed to delete:

·         Moqaysa data associated with your account in Firebase Firestore;

·         Moqaysa backups, archived exports, and other Moqaysa data stored through the App in your Google Drive;

·         your Firebase Authentication account associated with Moqaysa; and

·         local Moqaysa application data stored on the device.

After successful deletion, you will no longer have access to the deleted Moqaysa account data through that account.

Google Drive Deletion

If Moqaysa has been authorized to use your Google Drive, the permanent account-deletion process attempts to remove Moqaysa data created or stored there through the App.

Google Drive authorization or account confirmation may be required to complete this step.

If required Google Drive data cannot be deleted, the account-deletion process may stop and display an error rather than intentionally completing only part of the remote deletion process.

Delete Cloud Data Without Deleting Your Account

Moqaysa may also provide a separate Delete cloud data option.

This option is intended to remove applicable cloud-synchronized Moqaysa project/account data without necessarily deleting your Firebase Authentication account.

Deleting cloud data is different from permanently deleting your entire Moqaysa account.

Follow the warning and description displayed in the App before confirming the action.

Clear Local Data

You may also clear locally stored Moqaysa data from the device.

Clearing local data alone does not necessarily delete:

·         data already synchronized to Firebase;

·         backups stored in Google Drive;

·         archived exports stored in Google Drive; or

·         your Moqaysa authentication account.

If you want to permanently delete your account and associated remote data, use Delete account and data instead.

If You Cannot Access the App

If you cannot access Moqaysa and need assistance requesting deletion of your account data, contact:

Include the email address associated with the Moqaysa account so the request can be identified.

For your security, additional verification may be required before account-associated information can be deleted.

Do not send your password, Google password, payment-card information, or other authentication secrets by email.

Important Notes

Deleting your Moqaysa account does not necessarily delete information independently retained by third-party providers for their own legitimate purposes, such as:

·         Google Play purchase records;

·         information Google is required to retain;

·         diagnostic information retained according to a service provider’s applicable retention policies; or

·         records that must be retained where required by law.

Deleting your Moqaysa account also does not delete your Google account.
