As Covid was fading and bars and clubs that offered music began to reopen, we realized that in order to get our fair share of dates in Orange County, we needed to offer up a Tribute concept. Plain old Cover Bands just didn’t cut it (for now).

Eric Claptons’ immense catalogue was too much of a temptation for Moondog Miller to resist, and Jan Millers guitar talents covered Claptons style with ease, so work began on Slowhand in September of 2021. 

The Slowhand Repertoire covers Eric Claptons’ growth as a musician, from the beginning of his involvement in music to his current status as one of the greatest guitarists in the world. Clapton's career has straddled almost all genres in Rock n' Roll - from Blues to Psychedelic to Country - Electric to Acoustic - and consists of an endless array of popular music that Slowhand meticulously recreates in an exciting, locomotive of a show. Songs that are covered represent Claptons’ tenure with Jon Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and The Dominos, not to mention the numerous hits that Clapton has produced from his many solo albums.
