(2021)

Short story. I saw someone walking on grass after it had rained and I thought "Don't do that, it's a bad idea," and wondered why that was. This story gave the answer. Inspired in part by a visit to Cambridge University.

World's Exile is Death

(2020)

An excerpt from a novelette-length sci-fi reimagining of Romeo and Juliet. This segment follows the Romeo stand-in after he's been sentenced to exile. Written for a creative writing assignment.
