Hi,

I'm Montserrat Fuente-Camacho.

Native Speaker of Spanish

I am a PhD in Hispanic Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), with a Graduate Specialization in both Women’s and Gender Studies and a Certificate in Digital Humanities. I defended my dissertation in June and graduated in August of 2021 with a PhD in Hispanic Studies and a Master in Education with an Initial Teaching Certification in Spanish grades 7-12 . As my education based on interdisciplinarity and diversity would pair well with an institution’s objectives of supporting student success and excellence in education.

DIVERSITY is a word that can define my family accurately.  We come from different Hispanic countries and cultures (Equator, Spain, and Dominican Republic)

My son, Joel, is a Spanish heritage speaker.
