Fort Myers Beach RV Resort (Fort Myers, on San Carlos Boulevard): 10 miles, from the park's street address. Lists laundry, a mail center and pets.
Encore Tranquility Lakes (Cape Coral): about 10 miles, from the centre of the park's ZIP code, not the park. Lists laundry, a mail center and pets.
Gulf Air RV Resort (Fort Myers Beach): about 15 miles, from a point on the park's road. Lists laundry and pets.
Pine Island RV Resort (Saint James City): about 15 miles, from a point on the park's road. Lists laundry and pets. Its operator page is the only one of the 13 Florida pages without a line refusing refunds for early departure, so ask what happens if you leave early.
Gulf View RV Resort (Punta Gorda): 19 miles, from the park's street address. Lists pets, and is the only Fort Myers park that does not list laundry.
Harbor Lakes RV Resort (Port Charlotte): about 30 miles, from a point on the park's road. The farthest of the eight. Lists laundry, a mail center and pets.
What the comparison shows. 7 of 8 list laundry, 4 of 8 list a mail center, and only Pioneer Village lists RV storage. All 8 say they take pets. If you need the RV stored between seasons, Pioneer Village is the only park here that says it can.

What that means for you. Book through whichever line you like, but put the questions the page leaves open, such as which pad, how the meter is read and whether mail is held, to the park's own number. And map your daily drive from these street addresses, since the directory's distances for six of the eight are approximate.
Only 2 of the 8 positions are the park's own street address: Fort Myers Beach RV Resort at 10 miles and Gulf View at 19. Five are a point on the park's road and one is a ZIP code centre, so those six print as "about". This is the least exact metro in the directory.
The metro page's town table carries the same caveat. Cape Coral is 4 miles from Fort Myers Beach RV Resort, Punta Gorda 4 miles from Gulf View and San Carlos Park 8.2 miles from Fort Myers Beach RV Resort, all exact. Fort Myers Beach, North Fort Myers and Port Charlotte are each about 5 miles from their nearest park, and Bonita Springs and Lehigh Acres about 15, all approximate. Before you commit to a daily drive, map the route from the park's real street address.
All 8 operator pages, read on October 14, 2026, say that from April 15 to September 15 "reservations can have a maximum of 14 days per site", with back-to-back stays allowed if guests change sites. With no uncapped verified park in the metro, a full summer here is 154 days, 11 bookings and 10 site changes, whichever of the eight you choose.
Eight parks within about 30 miles under one operator give you a choice the pages do not mention: the next 14-day booking could be at a different park as easily as a different site. Either way it is a move, and either way it is a fresh booking on the short-stay terms. Each of the 8 pages charges one night's rack rate as a deposit, wants the remaining balance before arrival, and refunds in full up to 2 days before arrival. None of the 8 says how electricity is charged on a stay under 30 days.
A 14-day booking is far short of six months. Under Florida Statutes 513.01 it is a transient stay, and neither 212.03(4) route out of the transient rentals tax can apply: not a written lease for longer than six months signed up front, and not six months of continuous residence with the tax paid. The metro page reports that the towns around Fort Myers sit in 2 counties, Lee and Charlotte, at a local option rate of 5.0 percent on form DR-15TDT. With the 6 percent state rate, every summer booking here carries at least 11 percent, before any county discretionary sales surtax.
