Morgana le Fay

Fae noble drawn into the world of me by love. She fell for a magician named Merlin and spend many years with him, eventually becoming his apprentice. 

Merlin left to help start the Order of Reason which led to their separation and a feud that would span hundreds of years. Bitter, Merlin cursed Morgana into a mortal body and banned her from ever setting foot on the British Isles.

Morgana spent many years searching for a way to reach Avalon once more where she had served as High Priestess, to no avail. 

Her journey led her to New York where she became companions with Mathilde, an assassin and Walter, a mad scientist. Ensnared by Fate, they were drawn into a spirit war between the entropic forces of death and chaos.

The war became secondary when her son Preben, known to her as Mordred, seized power in New York. Battling her inner pride at seeing her son claim the 'throne' of the Big Apple and knowing what this meant for the city, she conspired with the warring spirits and the Technocracy to over throw him.

She felt the ripples of his death, not once, but twice and went to Europe to discern what was going on. 

This is the next chapter in her long story.
