We provide an emergency food pantry thanks to our generous donors!  This is  for the  times our neighbors are between scheduled pantry visits!

We work with local landlords, agencies and businesses to find solutions to  financial assistance requests!  These funds are provided through local donors, fundraising  and grants!

You can donate a food basket to those in need or sign up if you are need of one!  These amazing baskets are generously donated by local churches, business, groups and  families and include everything need for your meal and  a  few extras!

You can adopt a family for Christmas and provide gifts for them or sign up to be the recipient of those gifts!   This is thanks to our generous and selfless donors who support this outreach program each year!

This is a free 12-week program that provides your family with a weekly bag of groceries to feed your children lunch during the summer!  Once again, thanks to local sponsors and supporters for helping us feed children when school is out! 

The generous and amazing donations help support the work of HNS and provide a continuing source of  revenue and items  for those neighbors in need!  Consider donating your gently used items to The Back Porch or  stop by our resale shop at 215 West Mill Street, Waterloo IL!

In addition to the services and projects above,  through our generous donors we provide birthday bags for children, pass-thru funds for catastrophic medical needs as we work with the family, job coaching, financial coaching and many other services through our volunteers!
