JIM AND LAUREN THORN played a large part in the setting up of Monkton Arts as a music venue when the offered to perform free of charge to a sell out show. They are active in the local Jazz community. As a well-known musician, Jim runs the annual Isle of Wight Jazz Weekend, and helps encourage new musical talents with his Jam and Jazz sessions organising many other music events for charity.
