Heather listens carefully and selects the information, activities and support networks that match the needs of specific individuals. There is no such thing as one-size-fits-all, nor are there any two individuals alike in Heather's world. Each one is a precious gift, and she treats her clients with the respect and care that bring a special healing quality to their journeys. Heather Janes is a woman of unique capacity. I believe she will be a game-changer in the arena of Alzheimer's and dementia care. I highly recommend Heather to anyone seeking information, assistance, and support. - Susan A. I am glad we had a chance to talk. You gave me a lot of useful information and reading. - K.K (Caregiver)
It is with great pleasure that I am recommending Heather Janes to you. I have been a caregiver for more than 5 years to my in-laws who still reside in their home of 46 years. I met Heather about a year ago when I virtually attended a workshop “Powerful Tools for Caregivers” that she was leading. Throughout the course Heather led with empathy, integrity, respect and most of all listened to all of us attending on a weekly basis. I have witnessed this same support from Heather in a weekly book study and co-ran weekly support group. Through the support and resources that were given we were able to find additional support for my in-laws on a daily basis and respite care for 12 days so my family could go on a family vacation that would have otherwise been out of the question. Her strong work ethic and comforting bedside manner continues to bless others around her both on a one on one and a larger scale group. -K.H. (Caregiver)
Amazing what you are doing for the community, thank you! -Nicole Werner, Ph.D Associate Professor UW-Madison
