Effective Date: August 1, 2026
Welcome to MommyMode. These Terms of Use explain the rules for using the MommyMode mobile application, website, subscriptions, services, features, and related tools.
MommyMode is currently operated by Shannel Simmons in the United States. In these Terms, “MommyMode,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to MommyMode and its owner or future legal business entity.
By creating an account, using MommyMode, inviting a caregiver, uploading information, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.
MommyMode is intended for parents, guardians, caregivers, babysitters, and family organizers in the United States.
You must be at least 16 years old to create or use a MommyMode account. If you are under 18, you may use MommyMode only if you have permission from a parent or legal guardian, or if you are otherwise legally allowed to agree to these Terms in your state.
Children may have profiles inside MommyMode, but children under 16 may not create or manage their own MommyMode accounts.
Caregivers, babysitters, village members, and invited users must be at least 16 years old. The household owner is responsible for deciding whether an invited person is appropriate, trustworthy, legally allowed to provide care, and mature enough to access family or child information.
MommyMode does not screen, background check, certify, train, supervise, or endorse any caregiver, babysitter, village member, driver, family member, or invited user.
MommyMode is a family organization and caregiving support tool. The app may help users organize schedules, reminders, routines, child profiles, medications, allergies, care notes, school information, pickup rules, caregiver access, budgets, groceries, documents, and household tasks.
MommyMode is not a medical provider, emergency service, childcare provider, legal service, financial advisor, or professional healthcare tool.
MommyMode does not replace your own judgment, a doctor, a pharmacist, a school, a court order, a childcare professional, or emergency services.
In an emergency, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service.
You are responsible for the information you enter into MommyMode. This includes names, dates, times, medication details, dosages, allergies, emergency contacts, pickup rules, school information, caregiver instructions, documents, payment-related information, and household notes.
You agree to keep information accurate, current, and complete.
You should not rely on MommyMode as your only source for medication reminders, allergy information, emergency instructions, pickup rules, transportation plans, or childcare decisions. You are responsible for double-checking important information outside the app.
MommyMode may allow you to store or organize medication details, dosages, allergies, emergency contacts, care instructions, and related notes.
You are responsible for verifying all medical, allergy, medication, dosage, and emergency information with the appropriate professional or source before relying on it.
MommyMode does not provide medical advice, dosage advice, diagnosis, treatment instructions, emergency monitoring, or healthcare services.
MommyMode is not responsible for missed medications, incorrect dosages, allergic reactions, medical emergencies, caregiver mistakes, user-entered errors, or decisions made based on information stored in the app.
MommyMode may include AI, voice, transcription, suggestion, planning, or automation features.
AI and voice features may misunderstand, mishear, misread, organize information incorrectly, suggest the wrong date or time, miss context, or produce inaccurate results.
You are responsible for reviewing, editing, approving, or rejecting AI suggestions before relying on them.
AI suggestions are not final instructions unless you choose to approve and use them. You should independently verify important dates, times, medication details, allergy details, caregiver instructions, transportation plans, and emergency information.
MommyMode may allow you to invite caregivers, family members, babysitters, co-parents, drivers, or other village members.
The household owner is responsible for choosing who to invite, what access they receive, which child profiles they can view, and whether it is appropriate to share family or child information with them.
You agree not to invite anyone who should not have access to the household or child information.
MommyMode is not responsible for how invited users use, copy, remember, screenshot, share, or act on information they were allowed to see.
If you remove a caregiver or village member, their future access may be removed, but MommyMode cannot guarantee that information already viewed by that person can be recovered, erased from their memory, or removed from screenshots or copies they made outside the app.
MommyMode may allow users to upload or store documents, photos, forms, cards, records, notes, or other files.
You should only upload documents you have the legal right or authority to upload and share. This may include school forms, medical forms, insurance cards, identification documents, custody documents, care notes, or other sensitive family records.
Do not upload documents unless they are needed for your family organization and you are comfortable storing them in the app.
MommyMode is not a legal records system, medical records provider, official school record system, secure government document vault, or replacement for your original copies. You should keep your own backup copies of important documents.
Some MommyMode features may require a paid subscription.
Subscription prices, billing periods, trials, renewals, and available plans will be shown in the app or in the Apple App Store or Google Play before purchase.
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date through the Apple App Store or Google Play account used to purchase the subscription.
Deleting your MommyMode account, deleting the app, logging out, uninstalling the app, or not using the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.
You are responsible for canceling your subscription through Apple or Google if you do not want it to renew.
Refund requests for purchases made through Apple or Google must be submitted through the app store where the purchase was made and are governed by that store’s refund policies.
MommyMode does not directly control Apple or Google refund decisions.
MommyMode subscriptions provide access to the app’s available features during the active subscription period. Using the app, setting up an account, entering household information, inviting caregivers, creating child profiles, using reminders, uploading documents, or otherwise accessing subscription features does not create a guaranteed right to a refund after use.
Refunds are not guaranteed because of minor dissatisfaction, temporary bugs, user error, incomplete setup, misunderstood features, personal preference, forgetting to cancel, not using the app, or deciding after use that the app is not a good fit, unless required by law or by the applicable app store’s refund rules.
If you experience a technical issue, contact MommyMode Support at mommymodeapp@gmail.com so we can review and assist.
Repeated refund requests after substantial use, fraudulent purchases, chargebacks, misuse of promotions, or abuse of the subscription system may result in account review, restriction, suspension, or termination, where permitted by law and app store rules.
You agree not to misuse MommyMode.
You may not use MommyMode to harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, deceive, impersonate, or harm another person.
You may not attempt to access another person’s account without permission.
You may not upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing content.
You may not interfere with the app’s operation, security, payments, subscriptions, servers, or data systems.
You may not use MommyMode in a way that violates another person’s privacy, safety, legal rights, custody rights, or household boundaries.
You may delete your MommyMode account from inside the app where available.
Account deletion and data handling are described in the MommyMode Privacy Policy.
Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, backup, or compliance reasons, as described in the Privacy Policy or required by law.
MommyMode may update, improve, test, change, limit, remove, or discontinue features over time.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, perfectly accurate, or compatible with every device, operating system, notification setting, app store, or third-party service.
Reminders, notifications, calendar items, and alerts may fail or be delayed because of device settings, internet connection, operating system behavior, user error, app store rules, third-party services, or technical issues.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backup systems for important tasks, appointments, medications, pickup rules, emergencies, and caregiving responsibilities.
Your use of MommyMode is also governed by the MommyMode Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, used, shared, stored, or deleted.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy about how personal information is handled, the Privacy Policy controls.
MommyMode, including its name, design, branding, content, features, app structure, software, text, graphics, and related materials, belongs to MommyMode or its licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, sell, resell, reverse engineer, modify, distribute, or create competing products from MommyMode without written permission.
You keep ownership of the information and content you enter into your own account, but you give MommyMode permission to use that information as needed to operate, provide, secure, improve, and support the app.
MommyMode is provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MommyMode makes no warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, fully secure, perfectly accurate, or suitable for every family, caregiver, child, household, emergency, medical need, or situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MommyMode is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.
MommyMode is not responsible for missed reminders, missed appointments, incorrect information entered by users, caregiver decisions, school decisions, transportation issues, medical decisions, emergencies, payment issues controlled by app stores, or actions taken based on information stored in the app.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MommyMode’s total liability for any claim related to the app or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for MommyMode during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Some states do not allow certain limits on liability, so some limits may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MommyMode from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the app, your violation of these Terms, your violation of another person’s rights, your user-entered information, your invited users, or your caregiving decisions.
If you have a concern or dispute, you agree to contact MommyMode Support first at mommymodeapp@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any legal claim that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York, unless applicable law requires a different location.
MommyMode may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify users through the app, website, email, or another reasonable method.
Your continued use of MommyMode after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
