We collect information you provide, information created through your use of the Services, and limited technical information necessary to operate the Services.
When you create or use an account, we may collect:
Email address;
Display name;
Firebase user identifier; and
Authentication credentials or tokens. MommyMode does not receive or store your Google password when you use Google Sign-In.
You may choose to provide information about yourself, your household, children, dependents, and caregivers, including:
Names and ages;
Allergies, medications, dosages, doctors, health information, emergency information, and other care notes;
School, daycare, activity, pickup, and drop-off information;
Routines, chores, household rules, and schedules;
Meals, food preferences, recipes, and grocery information;
Transportation plans, driver information, pickup instructions, and gate or access codes;
Calendar events, reminders, notes, and checklists;
Budget, bill, expense, due-date, and savings information;
Document names and related metadata; and
Village member names, email addresses, roles, permissions, and child-access selections.
Some of this information may be sensitive. You decide what information to enter. Please provide only information that is reasonably necessary to use the Services.
When you use the MommyMode assistant, we collect the text you type or dictate and submit. The assistant may also receive a limited context string containing the active child's first name and your MommyMode plan name so it can interpret the request.
MommyMode does not send the assistant your full care database, other children's information, account credentials, or raw voice audio as part of an assistant request.
MommyMode uses the speech-recognition features provided by your device's operating system. The app receives the resulting text transcript and does not itself record, retain, or transmit the raw audio.
The underlying speech service may process audio on your device or send it to Apple or Google for transcription, depending on your device, operating-system settings, language, and locale. That processing is controlled by the applicable platform provider and is subject to its terms and privacy practices. The transcript is sent to the MommyMode assistant only if you submit it.
To provide notifications, we collect:
A randomly generated MommyMode device identifier; and
A Firebase Cloud Messaging push token.
These identifiers are used to route notifications to your device. MommyMode does not collect advertising identifiers such as Apple's IDFA or Google's advertising ID.
We receive subscription status, entitlement information, and related store-purchase information through RevenueCat and the applicable app store. MommyMode does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
MommyMode does not currently collect precise or approximate geolocation, access your device address book, use advertising or cross-app tracking identifiers, or use third-party advertising, behavioral analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs.
Emergency contacts and addresses entered in MommyMode are information you manually provide; they are not imported from your device contacts or location services.
We use information to:
Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure accounts;
Store and organize household, child, care, calendar, budget, meal, grocery, transportation, document, and village information;
Process assistant requests and generate proposed actions, plans, reminders, and other responses;
Deliver local and push notifications;
Manage village invitations, roles, access, and permissions;
Process and verify subscriptions and feature entitlements;
Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Services;
Respond to support requests and communications;
Prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms; and
Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and property of users, MommyMode, and others.
We do not use personal information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
We disclose information only as described below.

Assistant prompts are processed by Google's Gemini service. MommyMode sends the text you submit, together with the active child's first name and your plan name. Do not place information in an assistant prompt unless you are comfortable having it processed by Google to provide the response.
MommyMode uses Google's paid Gemini API service. Under Google's terms for paid Gemini API services, Google does not use MommyMode's submitted prompts or generated responses to improve its products or train its generative AI models.
AI responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review proposed actions and sensitive care information before relying on or approving them. MommyMode is an organizational tool and is not a medical, legal, financial, or emergency service.
MommyMode is designed for parents and caregivers to organize family information. It is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create or operate their own MommyMode accounts.
Users may enter information about their children or dependents. That information is provided and controlled by the parent, legal guardian, or other authorized caregiver—not collected directly from a child by MommyMode. By entering information about a child or dependent, you represent that you are authorized to provide and manage that information.
MommyMode accounts are intended for people age 16 or older. If you are under 18, you may use MommyMode only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. If we learn that a child under 13 created an account or directly provided personal information without appropriate authorization, we will delete the account and associated information. Contact us at mommymodeapp@gmail.com to report such an account.
A parent or legal guardian may request access to, correction of, or deletion of a child's information by using the app's controls, deleting the applicable content or account, or contacting us.
We retain account and app content while your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. Some records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or enforcement of agreements.
You may delete your account by opening Settings, scrolling to the bottom of the screen, selecting Delete Account, and following the on-screen instructions. Account deletion removes the household and its subcollections, the user's profile and related settings, registered devices, memberships, and the Firebase Authentication account from the active systems.
MommyMode does not create a separate backup copy of your information. After deletion from the active systems, residual copies may remain temporarily in Google-managed backup, disaster-recovery, security, or logging systems and will be removed or overwritten according to the provider's controlled retention cycle. Residual copies are not restored to ordinary production use except when needed for disaster recovery, security, or legal compliance.
Deleting the app from your device does not delete your MommyMode account or cloud-stored information.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. Network communications use HTTPS/TLS. Firebase and Google Cloud services encrypt stored data at rest using provider-managed encryption. Access to backend services is authenticated using Firebase ID tokens.
Limited information may also be stored on your device, including a randomly generated device identifier and an onboarding draft. Device storage is protected by the security controls available on your device and operating system.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your login information, secure your device, review village permissions, and contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, and to appeal certain decisions about a privacy request.
You can review or edit much of your information directly in the app. You can delete individual content using available app controls. To delete your account, open Settings, scroll to the bottom, select Delete Account, and follow the on-screen instructions. You may also contact mommymodeapp@gmail.com with a privacy request.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
MommyMode does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising. Therefore, there is no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out required for our current practices.
You may control push-notification permissions through your device settings. Disabling notifications may prevent reminders and other time-sensitive features from reaching you.
You may control microphone or speech-recognition access through your device settings. If you disable it, voice entry will not work, but typed entry may remain available.
The Services may link to third-party websites or rely on services supplied by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other platform providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. MommyMode is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services that it does not control.
MommyMode is currently offered for use in the United States. Our service providers may process information on servers located in the United States or other countries where they operate. Those locations may have data-protection laws different from the laws where you live.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the "Last updated" date when we make changes. If a change materially affects your rights or how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice when required, such as through the app, by email, or on our website.
