In October 2022, me and my class took a trip to 99 Labs for an opportunity to network with employees at Honda. We got walked through the whole process how a car is made and what processes go into designing the cars. One of my favorite things about the trip was learning about the white body and all the things that go into making the body.

Me and my group learning about the whole process of how a center console is designed. The designers walked us through the start to finish of the console. I found it really interesting how much 3D rendering it went through before it could even be prototyped.

Here is a picture of my group learning about a white body of a car. We were showed how the white body is made with automation and machines. We also got shown common defects that have to be noticed by technicians and corrected manually.
