Hey my name is Mohammed Mujib Hassan, I am an international student from Bangladesh which I believe is a big part of my identity. I am a person who enjoys a wide variety of things apart from my academic or career interests. I enjoy street photography and videography.
It makes me really happy to help people however I can, whether it be academically or any other aspect. I am person with many different interests and hobbies, but I often fail to dedicate adequate time to the activities. I enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places, food is definitely one of my ways to show affection. I dedicate a lot of time to my physical wellbeing by being involved in sports, I also like nature and hiking. It takes time for me to form new relations but I make sure they are meaningful.
What is an RA?
A Resident Assistant (RA) is a student leader who lives in a residence hall and is responsible for supporting the well-being and development of students living there. RAs help create a positive, inclusive community by offering guidance on both academic and personal matters, and they are often seen as approachable friends who are there to listen and offer support. In addition to organizing events and activities that foster social connection and personal growth, RAs are there to help students navigate challenges, whether it’s adjusting to college life, managing stress, or resolving conflicts. While they enforce housing policies to ensure a safe and respectful environment, RAs also serve as trusted guides and sometimes friends, offering a listening ear and practical advice when needed. Through their leadership and compassion, RAs create a supportive atmosphere where residents feel valued and understood, helping them succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
