Letterheads and Compliment Slips

A letterhead is the heading consisting of the name and address, and sometimes a logo at the top of a sheet of paper which is used as a letter to type or write information on for the business. Sometimes there is also a background pattern printed onto the letterhead. The term "letterhead" is actually used to refer to a whole sheet of paper printed with such a heading.

Letterheads are printed A4 in size (210mm x 297mm) although occasionally A5 (148mm x 210mm). Certain pieces of information are required to be displayed by law for South African Companies. Together with the company name, the companies registration number and the registered office address
