Projects:
Characterization of different bacterial strains:
Focusing on differential production of bacterial protease and alpha amylase in biofilm and submerged fermentation of Bacillus strains. Also studying the effect of different minerals on crude enzyme activity.
A comprehensive review study was to find the present state of HCV in Bangladesh. Also determined the country's true HCV prevalence rate as well as demonstrated a clearer picture of the existing genotypes.
I worked as the head and directed more than 200 volunteers from my university and 20 other institutes into 10 different teams to successfully organize the program. Got an immense response from the Biotechnology enthusiastic community of Bangladesh and nearly 1100 students from 30 universities as well as over 100 secondary educational institutes from all over the nation participated in the event.
This event was planned to disseminate the ideas of Biotechnology to young learners from schools, colleges and universities. My post program survey suggests that by organizing a event of this genre, I was able to make people generating a keen interest on Biotechnology which will help in the future to develop scientific minds with critical thinking ability. This ability can be further nourished and applied in solving complex issues of our developing countries to ultimately build a community with sustainability to meet the challenges of 21st century.
