The Executive Council is using Google Tools. When any of the documents are updated, it automatically updates these links. All online forms can be printed for handout at regional meetings. They have needed information for the member to access online. If however, you need any of the following in a PDF format, click on the drop down arrow located at the right of the Toolbox in the menu. You will find both Google Docs and PDFs for all forms and flyers listed below. PDF Documents are not automatically updated.

MNEA-R is a hybrid local that operates with a unique structure. As members, we pay dues to NEA, which provides us with benefits similar to those we had as active educators. MNEA-R represents Missouri as delegates to the NEA-R Annual Meeting. Our operating budget is received from MNEA, highlighting our close connection to MNEA. MNEA-R sends the largest delegation to the MNEA Representative Assembly each year. Our voice matters. Our experience matters. Whether it's in the classroom or in retirement, we are still changing lives. Together, we can make a difference.
The MNEA-R Executive Council is responsible for:
Creating the budget
Managing finances
Planning meetings
Organizing membership drives
Updating and maintaining bylaws and policies
Conducting elections
Serving as the voice of MNEA-R
Conducting an MNEA-R Annual Meeting
Our goals are to:
Be good stewards of duties and responsibilities, MNEA-R
Promote and strengthen MNEA-R
Support MNEA, NEA, and public education
Challenges and Opportunities
Given the vast size of our local, we face challenges in reaching and connecting with our members. To address this, our leadership has been working to develop new strategies and tools to:
Enhance member engagement
Improve access to information
Foster participation and connection among members
By achieving these goals, we aim to build a stronger, more connected community of retired educators who can advocate for public education and support one another
