Millimeter wave solid state devices and systems, ultra short pulse electronics, phased antenna arrays, gyrotrons, free electron lasers, plasma physics, advanced accelerators, Compton X-Ray light sources for cancer diagnostics and treatment, millimeter wave imaging, tokamak diagnostics, far-infrared lasers, MEMS, microwave/plasma interactions, vacuum electronics.
