Jo-Han Yu received the B.S. degree in electro-physics and M.S. degree in electronics engineering from the National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2012 and 2014, respectively. She took responsibility for the development of a W-band (75-110 GHz) CMOS receiver for radio astronomy application and the results received the Best Student Paper Award at 2013 Asia Pacific Microwave Conference.
From 2014 to 2015, she was an RF system engineer in the wireless communication technology department in MediaTek (MTK) Inc. HQ, Hsinchu, Taiwan. She has experience both on the pre-silicon planning for RF transceiver feature feasibility and the post-silicon 2/3/4G mobile system issues solving.
She joined the mm-wave research group as a Ph.D. student in 2015 and has been advanced to candidacy on October 2017. Her proposed research is focusing on designing the V-band (55-75 GHz) CMOS receiver and building up the receiver array using for imaging diagnostics. Her research interests are in designing mm-wave circuit and RF system architecture.
Her hobbies include baking, traveling and playing basketball.
